Independence Day

   I N D E P E N D E N C E

  Independence Day is an annual national holiday in our country observed every 12^th day of June, commemorating the independence of the Philippines from Spain.

    This year we are celebrating the 121^st Anniversary of our independence. All government offices are closed on that day as this is a National Holiday and so also are schools and also some private offices. Cavite holds a yearly commemorative act with the flag raising at the Aguinaldo Shrine and the reading of the Philippine Declaration of Independence.

     As a Filipino we must know how and when did we have our freedom. We should also give respect to all the people who fought for our freedom.
