PUT TIME INTO PREPARATION

PUT TIME INTO PREPARATION

32 Critical Supplies For Every First-Aid Kit - Off The Grid NewsThe Department of Health(DOH) joins the annual observance of National Disaster Resilience Month(NDRM) this whole month of July with the theme “Kahandaan sa sakuna’t peligro, para sa tumay na pagbabago.”

This event wants to call for action among all the government agencies to implement disaster resilience campaigns towards increasing public awareness. This event will cover disaster prevention and mitigation, disaster preparedness, disaster response and disaster rehabilitation and recovery.

This event aims to reduce the risk and impacts of disasters for learners, personnel, schools, and offices arising from natural and human-induced hazards. This also aims to empower personnel, offices, schools, and learners in ensuring safety and learning community.

The objectives of the framework is to protect learners and education workers from death, injury, and harm in schools.

Disasters strike in every corner of the world, during every season, and on different scales throughout the year.

These events are often unexpected by their very nature, leaving little time, if any, to prepare. That is why it is important to put time into planning and preparation long before the disaster strikes.

Health is Wealth

"Eat good. Feel good. www.foodmatters.com #foodmatters"  To be able to grow properly and to be healthy we must eat the right kind of food. Eating healthy foods is a great investment for our future. Having balanced diet, together with regular exercise and a healthy lifestyle, we surely get to enjoy our bodies in the future to the fullest. Who wants to be unhealthy anyway?

This year’s celebration of National Nutrition Month aims to promote healthy diets that would contribute to the reduction of incidence of overweight, obesity, and non-communicable diseases.

The purpose of 2019 Nutrition Month Celebration is to disseminate nutrition-related information through the focal theme, ”kumain ng wasto at maging aktibo; push natin to!” with this, all schools are encouraged to participate to different activities. By this, students can also show their talents, or can discover and learn more knowledge about nutrition.

Eating healthy can make you feel great, having more energy, improving your outlook, and stabilizing your mood. Health is wealth that’s why we should treasure it.

Be Ready!

1964 Good Friday Earthquake Photo Gallery - The Alaska LifeEarthquake is a natural phenomenon caused by constant movements of the Earth plates and due to ever-changing of the climate. It is the most unpredicted calamities that is happening to our country causing hundreds of death and injuries.

National simultaneous earthquake drill is encouraged by NDRRMC. It aims to intensify local communities’ earthquake preparedness and increase the commitment of local government units in building safe communities.

Earthquake drill is very important because it can teach us students and staff on how to respond to complications caused by an actual earthquake.
It is best for us to be prepared and ready for all eventualities because no one can predict when will the earthquake happen.

As we live in an area where earthquake is a frequent occurrence, we have to include earthquake preparedness in our overall emergency plan.
We must know the guidelines that Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology issued.

Independence Day

   I N D E P E N D E N C E
Philippines independence!! 118 years  Independence Day is an annual national holiday in our country observed every 12th day of June, commemorating the independence of the Philippines from Spain.
This year we are celebrating the 121st Anniversary of our independence. All government offices are closed on that day as this is a National Holiday and so also are schools and also some private offices. Cavite holds a yearly commemorative act with the flag raising at the Aguinaldo Shrine and the reading of the Philippine Declaration of Independence.
As a Filipino we must know how and when did we have our freedom. We should also give respect to all the people who fought for our freedom.
