It’s more fun in school with HSM

Happy schools movement seeks to promote every school in the region as a better and enjoyable place to study.
Dr. Malcolm Garma, DepEd Region 1 regional director, said the regional launch of the HSM was held at the Vigan Convention Center in this city on May 20, 2019.
It was  anchored on the theme: “Paaralang Masayang Maglingkod, Tagumpay ng Bata’y Itaguyod.”
Through this program, the learners’ full potential is given the greatest attention by creating a happier and more positive school culture. The movement aims to inculcate in the minds of pupils that school is not just a place for learning but also a place for fun and enjoyment as they enjoy what they are doing.
It aims to create an environment where students can freely express themselves and promote learning in an easy yet effective way of learning. Also, a happy school is composed of happy teachers build in a happy environment and form happy students.
Learners deserve to be loved and taken with utmost care. Activities and movements had been in the center stage to make our schools a child-friendly haven.
Happy School Movement is indeed a very promising transformative advocacy to our schools. Keeping in mind that our school children now will soon rule the future, thus let us make sure that our learners learn not just on survival mode or break-even scheme.
